Here's a simple true airspeed calibration technique that I have used with SkyView. It was very useful for an 8500' WOT speed runs on my Rocket, confirming a 250 mph maximum cruise speed:

Stabilize indicated airspeed using the autopilot to hold altitude and heading. Using the autopilot control, fly two successive 180 degree turns to get a complete 360 degree turn with a rate one turn. Analyze the datalog to determine maximum and minimum GPS ground speed over the 360 degree turn and average the result.  That is the calibrated TAS.

It's so easy that a version of the SkyView software could probably do it and display the result in flight.
