Just about to place the D10A remote compass into a plastic enclosure for protection.Checked fasteners etc for non magnetic, when I found out that actually the 9pin connector and its hardware as supplied by Dynon is quite strongly attracted by a magnet.
Is this ok,or should I use some other non magnetic connector there?

Re: EDC-D10A non magnetic connector hardware

The connector we supply does indeed have some steel in it, but a very small amount, which is known to not cause interference. The worst offenders are going to be bigger pieces of ferrous metal, especially those that move relative to the EDC (things like bellcranks and such) or which are themselves magnetized, and of course any power in the vicinity of the EDC.
