Can someone tell me how to edit the widget name (label) that appears on the EMS screen? I want to reduce the clutter on my 20% screen and would like to reduce several names like "BATT VOLTS" to "VOLTS". If I toggle it in the on screen it removes the wrong label. For instance "BATT VOLTS" changes to "BATT". That doesn't work because my "BATT AMPS" also changes to BATT" instead of "AMPS".

I had heard that there was a way to edit the basic file.
If you know how can you give me a basic walk through, which file, how to get it out of the Skyview, what editing program, what I am looking for to edit, how to get the file back into the Skyview.

Well I played long enough to figure it out.
Down load the user configuration file from the Dynon. It is named "xxxxxxxxx USER_CONFIG.dfg". Open it in notepad on your computer. Everything that sets up the display graphics in there. Edit it on the computer and give it a new name, just in case you want to revert to the original. Maybe call it xxxxxxxxx USER_CONFIG_01.dfg" and upload it to the Dynon and see if the changes are what you wanted. The file is organized and somewhat easy to follow to make changes.

"EMS Sensor Definitions, Mapping, and Settings All sensors must be defined, mapped to SV-EMS-220/221 pins, and have their settings configured. This section describes how sensors are defined, mapped, and set in SkyView."

What I needed help with was to modify the widgets beyond the available settings. What I did was change the widths of the bars, making the primary info ones wider than the others, also changed the display names so the single line was reading the proper name.
