efis 100 HSI display standby vor

My EFIS 100 HSI connected to an SL-30, does not display the standby vor (orange), but displays the primary VOR (yellow) OK. The green CDI also is displayed. When I flip flop primary and standby, the standby, now primary, displays fine, but the primary, now standby, does not display.

Did we happen to speak with you on the phone the other day? We're pretty sure this works when two VORs are valid (one in primary, one in standby), but there's an outside possibility that there's a bug. We also wonder if older versions of SL30 software don't report the bearing to the sby VOR

AFAIA they always did display the standby - have had one since 1998 and has always done that

Yes, I dd talk to you the other day, and you said you might send the problem to the "lab" to look for a bug. Has there been any results?

Looks like I found the solution.  It's not with the Dynon, but with my setup of the SL-30.  When the Nav function is selected on the SL-30, up comes the frequency of the active VOR and the frequency of the standby VOR.  In order to see the bearing to the standby VOR, I have to select the Nav button a second time. This displays the bearing to the standby VOR in parenthesis on the SL-30, and also enables the orange directional arrow on the Dynon.

Interesting. We've had the occasional customer experience what you have, but, it's stumped us so far. When you do that, does the CDI/HSI continue to work correctly on the D100 as well?

Yes, the CDI and HSI work fine on the D100 when the standby VOR is displayed.
