EFIS audio output

Hi guys,

I notice that a 10k adjustable pot is required for the audio out on the EMS 10...Did not see the same in the EFIS manual.

I assume the audio out wil be for the AOA warning?

Does this need a volume control like the EMS audio out?

Once implemented, the EFIS audio out will indeed supply an audible AOA warning tone of some kind. Note that the EFIS audio out is not yet driven by software and does not output any signal at this time.

You can wire the EFIS audio out in the same manner as you would the EMS.

I'd like to add my strong recommendation for adding audible warning tones (or voice).
Specifically, AOA and Vne warnings would be very useful.

I've already wired the audio output into my audio system through a 10K pot, so as soon as this feature is available, I will be using it.

Also, It would be useful to have the dimmer control on the top level menu.
