I have the following setup in my SeaMax M22:
- EFIS-D100
- EMS-D120
- AP74 autopilot + servos
When I power on the Dynon equipment, the D120 boots right up but the D100 is in a constant restart (blue screen - black - blue - black - etc) cycle, sometimes for 15-45 minutes. Sometimes it starts right up, but only after having worked just a few minutes before. It never works the first time I start up the power for the day.
I have had it start up in flight or on the ground when nothing is moving.
I have checked all connectors and cleaned them with contact cleaner. I have upgraded all the software for everything to the latest version - I did this after waiting for the D100 to start up. The internal battery backup is holding a charge and shows >12.5V all the time. The battery maintains the unit running after it starts up correctly if you turn the power off.
When it boots up, it works perfectly.
I'm stuck. The D100 was pulled from the aircraft before shipping the plane in a container for a long distance. The D100 was kept in an office then brought as hand luggage to the destination where it was reinstalled. No wiring was changed.
Does anyone have a suggestion about how to fix this or at least where to look next?
