EFIS D100 - location of remote compas

Bonjour,
I am in process of installing my D100, and I would like to know if it is possible to install the remote compass JUST BEHIND the D100, on a support installed on the D100 bracket.

The whole point of the remote compass is that we want it away from all magnetic interference. The panel is almost never free of interference, which is why we didn't put the compass inside the unit. If you think your location is clean, then it will work there, but if you have much else in your panel, it probably will not work well.
