Hi All

I'm making good progress getting the plane wired, however Ive stumbled across 2 wires in the pre-made harness that have me stumped

Yellow / Green   Seems to pin out parallel to the rs-232 yellow wire. Whats it for, and what do I do with it??

Second wire is white/ black stripe and its short, only about 4 inches out of the back of the connector  It doesn't seem to pin anywhere??  What this one for???  Cant seem to find any reference to these colors in my docs or the most current ones online

Help me...

The yellow/green can be connected to a GPS or SL-30 if you wish to use the HSI. You are correct that it parallels the serial port. Page 2-2 of the latest D00 guide describes this.

The short wire hooks to the ground of the shield for some of the wires. It's basically never needed and you are welcome to leave it unconnected.

But If I have an HS34 then I should not use the yellow/Green wire and the GPS and SL 30 go to the hs34 right??

Thanks
