I have been using my D10A for three months now. I have been really pleased with its performance and ease of use. However, the clock has recently been running really slowly, both with the alternator charging (14.3v) and when the unit is powered only by the permanent power supply (12.5v). It takes about 4 seconds for each second on the clock. Naturally this is affecting the VSI reading and the AI role rate is also very slow. I haven't re-booted it as I don't want to loose all my compass and AOA calibration data.

Has anyone experienced this, and what is the recommended course of action.

Many thanks, James Stringer

Sounds like a hardware problem with the clock chip. Unfortunately, it will need to come back here for repair (under warranty). Please call us at 425-402-0553 for further assistance.
