Hello from France,
I bought an EFIS D10A in october 2008 at Spruce. I don't know the firmware version installed and i am interested in installing the AP servos. Is it possible? Do i have to upgrade first the firmware, witch version (5.1 or 5.3)? If i need to upgrage it, i would like to do it prior to buy the servos, because i am not a specialist in software and i need to be sure it works before investing for the servos.

It's actually not that complicated. Hook everything up electrically, run the latest Dynon Support Program and upgrade the EFIS to the latest firmware (only the latest is ever available, and it rolls all previous updates up) . Then, do a "DSAB Configuration" per the manual, then you'll need to go back to the Support Program and re-apply the same update to update the servos.
