So what has gone wrong here?

The D180 (below) is the wrong instrument, as the a/c is in the hangar and D100 is showing correct roll and pitch.

The d180 shows nose down and right bank. Only the first time I have seen this in 300 hours now. This is after a reboot and 15 minutes on.

Do I need to send this back to the factory?

Would hate to find that after the first one failed and I was in IMC

If you power up in gusty wind conditions, the airspeed aiding might be causing some momentary erroneous attitude depictions. If that's not the case, then we should probably take a look at your unit.

Hmmmm

Powered up in the hangar with the pitot cover on.

Next day flying all was ops normal. Yesterday it was pitching up not down a fraction more.......

I will have to look at the "Holiday to Seattle" option. Might send it over before I leave for Oshkosh and bring it back after I visit Seattle.

I can't live without it for very long though :'(
