hey all, finishing up a 1981 YAK 52 SkyView installation and I'm having issues with CHT6 & EGT 5 reading negative. I have tried swapping wires at the sensor side, i have swapped connections from EGT 5&EGT6 and it 'X' out on display, I have checked continuity from the k/j-type wires to the connector on EMS module, and all read to correct pins with i believe correct continuity readings ( all J/K type harnesses were pre-fabricated), have also tried new probes and did not make a change. Any troubleshooting steps I have missed are greatly appreciated. thank you.
Also not sure if its related, but have also been having issues every once in a while upon avionics turn on with a transponder error message of "TX PSU LOW (0)" which i have read is a power supply problem, when i turn it off and on it will go away but a message of GPS LOST, but when testing you can see traffic in and out from another display. any advice is appreciated. also, customer came and ran the engine and the probes fluctuated up and down and then 2 of them 'X' out intermittently.

I’m having the exact same job done right now. Although, in my case the 5&6 sparkplugs decided not to fire this morning during an engine run. By negative, do you mean you are getting red Xs? Have you tried hooking up 5&6 to 3&4? Don’t know if your wiring harness is long enough to allow that. It might enable you to see if it’s a sensor issue, or possibly a fault elsewhere.
