EGT probe used for Tubine Temp?

I received my probe package for my soon to arrive EMS.

There were 7 EGT probes in the package, one to be used for TIT. But the clamp on the 7th is the same size as the EGT probes? No where near big enough for the location for TIT monitoring? All the TIT probes I've seen that utilize a clamp system have a 2.5 to 3.5 inch clamp.

What am I to do?

Scott, where did you get your probe package?

We don't sell any packages that include 7 K type thermocouples, and we've never sold a sensor that is labeled as being a TIT sensor. I'm guessing that if you ordered from us, you just ordered an additional EGT probe, but we'd never claim that to be correct for mounting as a TIT sensor.

Hi,

I ordered through PCA. Talked to them and they thought it would fit.

I added another Acme stainless clamp to the existing one, kinduv an Ouroboros configuration and it works fine.

Sure hope you guys get the firmware done soon for the Aux temp probe input. I'd be a willing beta testing for it.
