Hi, my name is Andrea and since a couple of weeks the 2 EGT indications are reading -95 °C when I switch my EMS 120 ON with the engine Rotax 912 ULS still OFF. As soon as I start up the engine they goes higher but never indicates a value that makes sense with the engine speed.
It was always working fine before!!!

Any suggestions, please!??

Thanks

That sounds like the probes are no longer connected to the EMS. They will read very low if there are not connected. If only one probe had stopped working, I would assume the probe was broken, but if both stopped at the same time it makes me think a connector is unplugged somewhere.

I will check, the strange thing is that when I start the engine the 2 temperature indications indicate around 450 degrees and they change when the RPM change.

That's pretty much expected. Floating thermocouple inputs are very sensitive, and changing the voltage in the plane (which happens with RPM since the alternator changes speed) will likely change the open thermocouple readings.
