Egt spikes

On my dynon skyveiw I get a spike in the exhaust gas temp when I push to talk, and at high rpm I get full spike on one get reading

You need to contact support directly with serial # of the EMS module, then they can determine if it needs to go back to be 'modified'

It is a known issue, if you search this forum. I had the issue also and recently returned my EMS unit to have the filtering added. Should get it back next week and then will see if the fix helps.

Ran the airplane today, downloaded the data logs and no more EGT/CHT spikes! Looks like Dynon has the cure for the EMS units.
