RV-12 154 hours. Right side EGT indication normal in climbout and cruise but starts to twitch 50-150F upon power reduction. At shutdown, this EGT pegs on the high side and slowly bleeds down at less than half the rate of the left side EGT. All other gauges normal.
This has occurred on the past three flights. I have checked the spade connectors for EGT in the engine compartment and they are clean and secure.
Is this behavior indicative of probe failure? I can't think of an engine condition which would produce these indications.
TIA for any ideas on this.
