EGT wire extension

Have 2 issues,
Just one wire (brown) in EGT loom needs extending around 6". Can this be done reliably?
Have trouble with single EGT probe working well then data jumps around, crazy values, have followed and checked FFwd connections with no success. Others probes are good

You can extend just one EGT probe if needed. You do need to use the correct type of thermocouple wire when doing this.

The best thing to do when having issues with one probe is to switch the connections with another probe. This will tell you if the probe is sending out wrong information, or if you have a wiring issue.
