Elev trim not displaying after V14 update

Hello,

After doing the software update to v14 my electric elevator trim is not recognized on the dynon. Doing a calibration will not work, says no change in voltage detected. But I can confirm that it was working prior to the update.

I have also confirmed with another pipistrel virus owner that after this update it has also done the same to his trim.
Can you recommend a fix for us?

That's definitely odd. I'd probably start by looking at the pin mapping for your EMS. But if you have a manufactured airplane, you may not be familiar with what that should look like. Can you send a backup of your current settings and your pre-upgrade settings to support at dynonavionics dot com? Your pre-upgrade settings can be found in a subfolder of the stick that you used to upgrade your display with (SkyView automatically saves them)

Hi we found that the pins changed for elevator trim after the software update. After re-assigning pin c37p9 to position, position, elevator it works again.

Hmm, that's weird and not expected behavior (and has us a little stumped) Any chance you have those pre-upgrade settings from your USB stick? We'd love to see a copy of those and your post-upgrade settings, before you fixed things, if you happened to grab them.
