JR. :-/Following up on our telephone converstation regarding the EMC calibration. I have not had great luck with the process. Alternate laptops have been no more successful. I have been able to go through the entire routine and now for the strange part. When aligned with a particular heading, data will only continue to be collected while I keep the cursor moving. If I pause or my finger stutters on the cursor pad then the error message that no efis is found appears. When I resume with the cursor then it will begin again to collect data.
Upon completion of the routine (not routine at all) an average error of 11 degrees was indicated. Thinking that I could improve on this I went through the process again. This time the average error was 54 degrees. Another attempt yielded 57 degree average error. Each of these attempts require about a half hour with positioning, selecting the proper button, closing the canopy, manipulating the cursor, etc.
What do you suggest?
