I have my Dynon now since over 12 years and several 100 hrs, had the EMS once in for repair. Now that Sunday I did start the engine all was normal, did taxi to the parking area did shutdown, made my flightplan and flight prep and got 20 minutes later back to the plan, did start the engine (the ems normally shortly blacks out) and then I had a black screen, the D100 did not see the EMS either on the split screen. I did then taxi to the runup (less then 2 minutes) and was surprised seeing the EMS D10 screen slowly fading in. No further issues during all of the flight but I wonder if I can check something (log is downloaded) and if I'm on the way to loose the EMS?

Cheers Werner

That sounds like a hardware problem. Logs won't be able to show us anything further here. When you say "fading in", do you mean that the screen was gradually getting brighter?
