I'm replanning my panel taking account of new gen. EFIS. I would like to know, since it is not clear to me, if the engine monitor as an add-on will display data on the EFIS itslef or if it would be needed a separate display and so separate (added) panel space.
Thanks.

We don't have the EMS graphics, symbology, and layout done on the next generation yet, which is why it's not on the preview that we've shown. But generically, think of the the next generation as a set of screens that can do about anything with different modules connected to them.

So you could, for example, have a single screen with primary instruments, engine instruments, moving map, etc. Or you could have those same modules and display them over multiple displays, in different layouts that splits up the different functions over the different screens (much like you'd see on an "integrated" panel in the certified fleet)

So, it would be possible to have, let's say, a 10'' monitor where primary flight datas, HSI, moving map (as EFIS preview you're showing) AND at least brief engine datas will be displayed. That's all I need and search. Is this a predictable correct answer?
Thanks.

Yes - a single 10" screen will be able to do display primary flight instruments, moving map, engine instruments, and anything else we cook up, all at the same time.

Can the display be customized though? For example, will you have the equivalent of "widgets" such that I may choose to show RPM from the engine monitor on the screen, while say putting the AIS or moving map on it as well?

This would be a VERY nice feature.

BTW, very pleased to see an EFIS vendor adopting LEDs in their display.

Still a bit soon to go into specific deep feature-level details.
