EMS Engine Gauges Setup and Nav/Map

Hi Guys,

Have just bought my 10" Skyview unit and am a bit stuck preparing the engine gauges.

How do I get 4 Cylinder Head Temp Gauges, and 4 Exhaust Temp gauges? The default seems to be for just one!

Looking at the map (and I know it's not the final one), will the finished mapping include towns so that we can report positions quickly to control services?  Why not something similar to Skyforce Skymap 111c as it's so easy?

In the EMS screen layout, you can choose EGT/CHT's combined, or individual EGT and CHT displays. You need to go into the screen layout editor.

We will have roads/towns someday, but I can't answer when this will be or for what countries we may be able to get the data.

Thanks for that and I look forward to the UK maps.

As I said before, my problem is that with 4 cylinder Head Sensors and 4 Exhaust Temp sensors, I need four gauges, or two of the combined EGT/Cyl Head Temps, - how do I get them from the layout page as the default seems to be for one of each type.

So you need to go into the layout editor, then press the SENSOR button, then highlight the EGT CHT TEMPS widget, then REMOVE it. Then individually select the EGT TEMPS and CHT TEMPS widgets to add the CHT and EGT gauges individually. If I've understood you right, I think that's what you're after.

Also, note that the EGT and CHT gauges will scale to the correct amount of bars depending on how many CHTs and EGTs you have configured in the pin mapping setup.
