The MAP sensor does not connect to the same places on the engine as the CHT sensors, so there is not a conflict. The CHT sensors connect via bayonet adapters screwed into blind holes in the lower surface of the cylinders. The MAP sensor screws into a port connected to the intake manifold that is normally closed off by an allen plug. Screwing a CHT temperature sensor into that port would only measure the temperature of the air/fuel mixture entering the engine.
