I had a thought regarding the basic sensors for the EMS. I am using an automotive conversion and was wondering if it is possible to use the same snsors (ie; MAP, fuel pressure, oil pressure, etc.) from the EFIU for the EMS? Also, on another note, I have my network up and running for my 10" Skyview with pitch and role servos as well as back up battery and happened to notice that upon shut down, there is a blinking yekllow light on the back of the display. I would like to now if tthis is normal as long as the back up battery is installed. I see no were else for the unit to be recieving power from.

It's possible in some cases but not trivial. See http://wiki.dynonavionics.com/Making_your_own_sensor_definitions for a primer.

As for the light. The yellow light is tied to master power, period - so if it's flashing, that means that master power is flashing to the unit, too. The green light, though, will flash any time master power is connected, regardless of whether or not SkyView is actually turned on. So if you powered down by pressing/holding the leftmost button, this is normal. If you killed master power and it was still flashing, confirm you are running the latest software release (currently 2.6)? If not, update and report back. If so confirm that it's SkyView's light that's actually flashing, and perhaps give us a call.
