Hello,
I was doing a power up of my d100, and ems 120 + hsi34 all together, and all was fine during about an hour. I use an power supply of 20vdc, well in the spec. None of the instruments are on the plane yet, and the were never really used, despite being 2 years old....
only power supply and dsab bus are connected. After an hour or so, the d120 turned into a brick, black screen, and is no longer present on dsab bus. D120 and hsi34 are fine.
When I power up the d120 alone, I see the blue dynon welcome screen, then the device screen get black, and there is a single small clik ( relates to amps / current calibration, If I do recall) . nothing else after.
Should I : try to reload firmware 5.2 ( the one already in), then , if nothing works, send the ems 120 back to you? serial of ems D120 : 2067
Regards!

Hello,
I disconnected the D120, and then connected the serial port, and powered it up. Went back  to life. I checked the firmware version, V5.1.1 , and NOT 5.2 as I thought.

I did uploaded 5.4 on all.

I remember reading somewhere similar issues. is this 5.1.1 firware, or something dealing with the keep alive wire?
Regards!

It sounds like the best thing to do is to contact our tech support at 425-402-0433, or support@dynonavionics.com. That we way can ask you a few questions, and hopefully avoid having to have you send the unit back to us.
