New Member . I have an Apollo SL 70 transponder and would like to know if I need to buy a converter to use it with a D100 ? I also have a Apollo GX-65 Nav/Com and from what I have read in this forum I will need HS 34 HSI Expansion module for it to work , Is this correct? Thanks.
Encoder Converter Module Question

The SL70 has a serial input, but the only two transponders we're 100% works without the converter are the 327 and the 330. It looks like customers in the past have had issues getting the data to display reliably from our serial output.
The gray code (with the converter) would definitely work though. I'd say try it without the encoder first, and if it doesn't work, know that you may need the encoder converter.
