Is it possable to use a Ameri-King encoder Model AK-350 With a Dynon? Or should I get the dynon encoder/converter?
The king unit came with a Microair package radio & transponder package.
I hate too just toss it aside and find out later that it would have worked. Plus save $80.

You can use any encoder with the Dynon. We don't need to receive any info from your encoder so it doesn't matter which one you have at all.

The only point of the converter is if you wish to use the Dynon as your altitude encoder. If you don't want to use us as your encoder, then you just don't hook us up.
