Erratic CHT reading on Rotax 912

The forward left CHT reading on my Dynon 180 jumps all over the map and generally reads low. I replaced the CHT thermocouple on my Rotax 912S engine, and checked the wire connections, but the problem persists.
Has anyone resolved a similar problem on the 180?

Are you using the two CHTs that come attached to the 912? Or are you using ring terminal probes under each spark plug?
