Hello,
On a recently installed automatic pilot, I get erratic "roll" and/or "pitch" error displays.
I have checked the wiring and the connections. The servomotor references are: SV32 100754-000, serial numbers 002201 and 002205
They were bought second-hand, apparently in perfect condition.
Is there a known problem with these serial numbers? For info, the wiring of the DB 9 plugs did not conform to the current Skyview standard. This has been rectified. Many thanks for your help and advice!

Will try to help -
No known problem however second-hand could mean anything
DB9 plugs - I use the 'standard' with modification & mark those DB9 to be A/Pilot use ONLY. The power wire (red - use a separate circuit breaker) is totally independent of the network (2 x 2wire twisted pair), black can go to a local ground & a/pilot disconnect (black/white) goes to PTT style (NO) switch on stick or panel.
Knowing the error messages can help.

Thanks ! but:
The red power wire is on a separate circuit breaker. Black to the ground and black/white to a special switch for disconnect.
About the network (2x2twisted pair) there is no problem. Tests and calibration are ok for both servos.
I don't understand what you mean with : A/Pilot use only ?

What I have learned from previous experiences - if you get this error it has to do with the power or ground connections to the servos. The most recent one only a week ago when someone had the same errors. Ended up to be the pitch servo connector where the two screws securing it, has vibrated loose. In another case there was a connector pin not locked inside the connector body and therefore pushed back when the connector was plugged in.
