Flew for the first time today. Everything worked well. I noticed the rpm would wander a lot say, going from 1700 to 2300 and back or 2300 to 3100 and back. The eng wasn't changing its rpm. I have an 0360 with the reccomended resistors in line. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks Craig

I haven't experienced this however if you used the supplied 30K oHm then try increasing by 10 or 20 K increments (but no more than 100K max total), that should fix the problem ;)

Had the same thing happen on a project I helped complete. Jake is right. Ours took 60K to make the RPM steady.

So, when I went to buy the resistor, I had a choice of 1/8 watt, 1/4, etc. I'm guessing it's the lowest power one. Dynon or someone, can you reccomend? Thanks in advance. CW

Anything will do. Wattage in a resistor is the max wattage a resistor can handle, and in this application the wattage is small so it's not an issue.
