Error code when installing AP74 and two servos

I am trying to configure the DSAB network after installing an AP74 and two servos to my existing D180. After selecting reconfigure DSAB network it came back with Error Code 2. Anyone know what that means. Hoping it just means I need to update software.

Software update required results in a more meaningful message.
D100 installation manual page 6-15 - "Step 1 Configure DSAB" covers this.
Sorry - don't have the D180 manual but it will be in there.

Yours sounds like something more fundamental.
Try turning off the AP74 and servos in turn and try configuring DSAB again to see what if anything changes - it would narrow it down a bit.
You haven't got your DSAB A and B crossed over somewhere, have you? Just an idea!

And yes, you can have a D180 + AP74 with no servos: it's not a factory supported configuration but I have been using a D100 + D120 + AP74 config for the last 3 years without problems!

Thanks for your reply. I agree that the message I got was a bit cryptic but as it tuns out it was a software version mismatch that was causing my problems. It did surprise me a bit as the 2 servos and the AP74 were brand new and I had updated the D180 just a couple of months ago so thought I was all up to date. Updating all units at the same time fixed the problem though.
