Sorry for being a newb. I've only just gotten the Skyview Touch installed in my plane.
I've purchased the Seattle Avionics VFR charts and airport diagrams. (All good there). However, at boot up, I'm still getting "database expired". message. Is this a Dynon database? :-/
Thanks,
the Stagger EZ Guy

Which database is expired depends on the exact wording of the message.

You can post a screenshot here (insert a USB flash drive and push buttons 2+7 to record), or you can check manually:
SETUP MENU > LOCAL DISPLAY SETUP > INSTALLED DATABASES. The expiration dates are listed.

If you do have an expired FAA Aviation or Obstacle database, download the latest here.

I took a picture: "Expired Databases Aviation 23-Jul-2014"

That's all the message says. It's on a black banner close to the bottom of the screen. Ideas? Dynon aviation database?"
Thanks

On downloading the AVIATION database, do I save it to a USB flash drive, move it to the pigtail off the EFIS and try an update?
Let me know thanks,
DW

Yes - that's the correct procedure. Use the LOAD FILES option.

Update: I was able to save the Aviation database to my USB, then install the update from the SETUP Menu. I got it done! A big shout out and thank you to the Dynon tech support team.
DW :)
