External Nav Source Switch

Is there any way other than the HSI34 or AP74 to have an external switch to change the nav source on a FlightDeck 180 ? We have an SL30 radio going into the EFIS connector and a Garmin 396 going into the EMS connector. Any one know of a way to change the nav source without all the button pushing ? Thanks in advance.

Since the 180 has two serial ports, you do not need a HS34 or a switch to pick between two Nav sources on that box....

Press the button under the HSI to get the HSI menu and then push the NAVSRC button to toggle between the two ports.

The HS34 adds a bunch more features to the list but with the 180 you can get basic switching real easy....
