I am considering using Mil-spec circular connectors on the firewall for the SV-EMS-220 wiring harnesses.  What connectors are compatible with the CHT/EGT harness and can these wires use solder connections, or should they be crimped?

Oldngrey:

We always recommend crimping wires and pins instead of soldering. Soldered wires can easily become too brittle in a high-vibration environment like an airplane. If you don't have experience in terminating thermocouple wire (CHTs/EGTs), we suggest you do a little research before starting the wiring work; thermocouple wire isn't quite like standard copper wire when it comes to terminations.

Crimped type work for the thermocouple wiring ;)
