Firmware Update

I plan to update the firmwear of my Dynon system (D100, D120, HS34, AP74 and DSAB) to version 5.4.3. An earlier post on this subject suggested that, as you update each of the D-100, D-120 and HS34, you need to have the unit you are updating powered on and the other two powered off. However, the only thing Dynon's instructions for firmware update say related to this subject is that you need to power off the DSAB bus master (EFIS D-100) when updating the HS34. Would appreciated clarification of this aspect of the procedure.

A related question: The download instructions say to power off the D100 before updating the HS34. However, the HS34 is powered through the D100. If you turn off the D100 you turn off the HS34. Solution?

The HS34 doesn't get power from the D100, but may be wired to the same master/avionics power switch. To turn the D100 off, just press and hold the left button.

Same things goes for the D120 for that matter.
