I have a Flight Design CTSW that has a bad flap relay board. It might be possible to repair or replace it, but that is not my questions so let's let that go by.
I have a design for a DPDT MOM on OFF MOM on toggle switch to control the motor on the linear actuator that moves the flaps. It's straightforward.
I'd like to display flap position on the HDX. It wants +5v.
The existing flap position indicating potentiometer is 12v. I really don't want to replace it if I can avoid it because it's so hard to get to and work on. I'm wracking my brain to see if there is any way I can use the existing setup with some modification. Can I run the pot on 12v and put some transformer on the signal line to change 12v to 5v, etc.?
