Hello,

I'm in the process of the final wiring of my Dynon Skyview.  I have a FC-10 fuel computer that has a host of functions.  The directions state the following:

"(Data Transmit to GPS) Connect this wire to your Panel Mount GPS. Handheld GPS do not connect this wire.
The associated GPS connection will be labeled Data in, RS-232 RX, Serial Receive (Consult your GPS Manual)".

I DO NOT have an EMS module.  Will any open serial port provide the 232 RX data this system needs to utilize its full GPS flight planning capabilities?

Thanks for your help!

The FC-10 supports NMEA data in, which we can output and send GPS data TO the FC-10.

The FC-10 also sends out data to a GPS. We have no support for data from an external fuel flow device. No connection on the white wire should be made to SkyView.
