Does the Flight Data Systems GD-40 carbon monoxide detector integrate with the Skyview system?

http://fdatasystems.com/GD_40.htm

Any concerns if it does? Thanks

We don't have support for the serial input, but, the relay output the pulls the line to ground when there's an alarm can be configured to work with any SkyView general purpose input.

Like the canopy or gear indicators depicted on the second page of http://dynonavionics.com/downloads/SkyView/SkyViewCard_Oct09.pdf

Hi,

Any update on use of the GD-40 with the skyview?

Do I still just wire into a general purpose contact?
e.g RLY on GD-40 into say pin 9 and set up same as Canopy contact on page 7-61.
No Serial input.

Many Thanks

Serial interface support would still be nice to have, because the detector provides more than just "no alarm" or "alarm". For this reason I did not hook up the GD-40 to SkyView at all. I use the green/red LED, the button and the audio output from the detector...
