Flight Planning Capabilities

I'm curious what sort of flight planning capabilities the next generation system will have since it now includes what looks to be a pretty robust moving map.  Will it be possible to mission plan a flight on a home computer prior to a flight and simply upload it via a USB stick or some other media?  Also, will this flight plan be propogated across the bus to other Dynon units and/or other avionics (via ARINC)?  Will it be possible to do flight planning on another unit, such as one of the Garmin GNS units, and propogate the flight plan into the EFIS for display on the moving map as well as drive the autopilot?  Finally, will mission planning include VNAV capabilities?

Eventually, the answer to all of that is probably yes. On the day it releases, the answer is probably no to all of them. Just like we have done with our current products, the next generation system will grow and gain features over a long lifetime.
