Flight Plans and Airways

I thought I asked about this but a search did not turn up any answer.

Currently your autopilot only follows steering from an external GPS. Will the next generation system allow you to enter the flight plan directly into the EFIS? If so, will your data set support Victor airways?

FYI, I seem to keep hearing people ask for this - and they don't want to have to buy yet another Garmin unit to have it!

Yes, this is inherently needed in a moving map. Don't be surprised if the first cut at the map is direct-to only, followed on by a more robust multil-eg planning system added on later (remember, the next gen stuff is going to be released in various phases.

If so, will your data set support Victor airways?

Per above - probably not at the start, but eventually, we think so.

I may have missed this, but will the new system display an HSI from the SL-30?
