FlightDEK-D180 compas tape

Hi
I am using the Dynon D-180 which is a brilliant piece of equipment. My problem is, can I adjust the compass ribbon reading at the top of the display to match my analog compass display. At the moment I am flying with 2 different headings. Have read the user guide and can only find how to set up the 'V' markers. (Page 4-4).

Compass calibration is covered in the Installation Guide. There is a full calibration procedure described there, but there is also an adjustment that can tweak the entire heading tape by a few degrees in either direction if that's what you need (usually it's best to re-do the entire calibration though)

Bob- once you do the Dynon Compass calibration first you may find your analog one does not agree therefore IT will also need adjusting- the Dynon system is so good I’ll believe it first every time

I 100% agree with you jakej its a brilliant piece of kit.
Will just try another medium flight using the Dynon compas and sky demon and see if the headings are accurate.
