Hi

I have looked around a bit to find this, but haven't seen it anywhere, apart from the reference to "Larger servos will have a higher drag force"...

What I would like to know is the relationship between the ratio between the maximum torque output of a servo (let's say the small one) and the residual drag torque when it's disengaged.

For example, the average stepper motor has about a 10:1 ratio, where say a maximum torque is 8Nm, the off (or detent) torque is about 0.8Nm...

Thanks
Etienne

The SV32 is no more than 2 in-lb and the SV42 is 3 in-lb. It basically varies linearly with the servo's torque output capability.
