Fuel Flow Calibration Screen out of Sync with Fuel Flow Sensors.

I have an odd situation with my SkyView Classic. In the setup, I have one fuel flow sensor configured. It is on pin 14 in the sensor configuration. When I go to the fuel flow calibration menu, I see two fuel flow sensors to calibrate, one on pin 14 and one on pin 19. I have configured the one on pin 14, but I cannot remove, or set to 0, the other sensor. Any thoughts about how I should deal with this? Do I ignore the second sensor? Thoughts?

Do you have Rotax configured in the setup? It may be adding another sensor for return fuel flow if you do.

You can ignore the second fuel flow sensor input. It is designed for aircraft which have fuel injection utilizing a continuous return to tank of all fuel supplied to the engine which is not used. Traditional aircraft fuel systems using a carb or a Bendix type fuel injection do not have fuel return lines. I suspect your airplane is like this. This is the most common configuration. Those with fuel return lines are normally running high pressure fuel rails more like cars. I think the SDS fuel injection may be this way. The Skyview simply subtracts the fuel flow of the second sensor from the first to give the fuel computer (and you) actual fuel used if your system has a return to tank. If there is no flow in the second sensor nothing will be subtracted and the system shows all fuel leaving the tank as having been burned. Leaving the P value (I think default is 68000) in the second sensor will not affect you since no actual flow will be detected unless a second fuel flow sensor is installed.

You can ignore it if your configuration isn't set up for a Rotax. A second fuel flow is automatically added for Rotax engines, because they do have that return line to the tank. That's why I asked. On the older systems, the second fuel flow was labeled differently, but I'm not sure on the newer ones. It is indeed a long shot. I just thought it wouldn't hurt to check. Should be under SETUP MENU > EMS SETUP > ENGINE INFORMATION > ENGINE TYPE.
