Hello,
I've got a Sting Carbon, and burn fuel at an average rate of 16L/hour with a Rotax 912 iS and EMS 221.
the Skyview shows 12L/hour consumption.
I have no sensor installed. Informations came from the Rotax ECU. Is it possible to calibrate Skyview to have a right information.
Sorry for my english, I am French.

This data comes directly in digital format from the Rotax 912iS ECU. We cannot calibrate it or change it. Your only option is to install actual flow sensors.

As it says in our install manual "While the 912 iS ECU does report fuel flow information, but Rotax makes no claims about its accuracy."

Hello,

In my mind, ECU informations are more precise than flow sensors (with the Roatx you must install two sensors and it is very very difficult to have good calibration).
But in my case, I remarked a difference of 2 liter/hour with the reality, that mean 15/20% and 10 liters of difference when I fly 5 hours. It is a lot.
Could you create a calibration menu which permit to adjust ECU informations in % ? like for sensors .

Hello Dynon,

I asked you a question in may :

"Could you create a calibration menu which permit to adjust digital Rotax ECU informations in % ? like for sensors "

Could you tell me if my request would be realizable ?
It would be great ! :D :D

So, it turns out we did make a provision to adjust the flow rate from the 912iS.

In HARDWARE CALIBRATION-> EMS CALIBRATION -> FUEL FLOW you need to adjust P14

The default is 68000. Higher numbers will reduce your flow, and lower will increase it:

68000 / P14 Setting = Multiplier.

So if you need it to show 10% more flow than the fuel computer is currently calculating, you would need to set 61818.

This will not adjust the displayed fuel flow, only the fuel used as calculated by the fuel computer.

Hello Dynon,

My Fuel computer is now accurate and my fuel used is exactly the same than burned.

Thank you for your help
