Fuel flow sensors

Hi,

Installing a Rotax 914F on my Europa project and wondering about fuel sensors. I have one Floscan sensor but I'm thinking I'll need two if the Dynon D120 calculates the fuel use after what's returned to the tank.

If it's two, then what's the best place to place the sensors?

Thanks for any assistance,

Dan

See any EMS installation manual online for a diagram that was supplied by the kind folks at Lockwood Aviation (the rotax gurus). Because the 914 has a return fuel line, you will need a differential computer such as the one you can purchase from www.matronics.com

Thanks for the reply (and fast too!). Regarding the Matronix item, you're talking about the Return Flow Controller Kit right? Not the entire fuel management system (LT or DX), right?

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan,

It's the return flow controller kit you need. Works like a charm.
Put a push-button in the return sensor feed, and you can check the raw throughput of the fuel at the pre-flight.
