I have a skisport capacitive fuel system. But it does not work with the Dynon in capacitive mode. The description of the skysport says that it does not output the voltage 0-5 V needed for digital systems, but a current (mA). It does not say more than that, not even mentionning the voltage at which the current is delivered. Any chance this system works with the Dynon in the resisitive mode ? has anyone some experience of this fuel level sensor ? :-/
Some help will be appreciated, I wish to avoid replacing the sensor...

What we specifically need is a variable voltage that moves within 0-5V DC. So if it's a current output, it's not going to work, unfortunately.

We do need a voltage, not a current. Ohms law says current and voltage are related by resistance, so the current it creates isn't at a voltage.

You can generally convert 4-20 mA to 0-4V with a 200 ohm resistor. If you hook the mA output to this resistor and the other side to ground, you should then be able to use this.

Thank you for your advice. Then I will do my best to measure the current output tank empty then tank full in order to determine what resistance would be appropriate.
