Fuel injection return line sensor

I'll be running a ULPower 350 engine with fuel injection therefore I'll need to have a fuel return line. I've got the 10" skyview but I don't see anything about setting up a second fuel flow sensor and the fuel differential computing function for the return fuel line. When will this function be available in the Skyview so I won't need to buy a Matronics unit?

This is supported in SkyView but wasn't well covered in our first release of the install manual.

Just hook the return like to the fuel flow #2 input (pin 19) and it will do what you want.

Would you not have to also connect the pin #13 and pin # 15 to the second fuel flow transducer along with pin # 19? Like my post on fuel flow pins, just guessing.

Well yes, you do need to hook power and ground to the return sensor somehow.

I thought the correct method for a FI return system was to mount the fuel flow meter between the throttle body and the distribution manifold. THat way, only the fuel going to the injectors is measured, the return flow happens as required from the fuel pump mixture adjustments. I have the ECI FI system and hope this is the way to do it, do you agree Dynon?

There are a lot of different ways to do fuel delivery and some of them absolutely require a return flow sender. Most of the mechanical fuel injection systems used on Ly/Con engines don't need it. Auto conversions, Rotax engines, and less common stuff often does.

We're not experts on your specific system, but in general the way you described it is common on a Ly/Con.
