Fuel Level Calibration on Tank 3

How many set points are required for calibration of the fuel tanks? I have 3 tanks. The two mains will be voltage and the third resistive. I have a series of float switches that feed a series of resistors on my small aux tank, but that only gives me a few set points.

Any chance the EMS-120 defaults to a linear input without doing the calibration for the fuel quantities? I have the ability to calibrate voltage the senders independantly to linearize the output. I can select any value for the resistor network as well to linearize that output as well, but I don't know how the 1KOhm resistor on the +5V connection affects the input.

I am asking all this in hopes that I can reduce the work needed to get the fuel quantity calibration done buy not having to do the calibrations twice.

TIA,
-Doug

The fuel calibration does not have any default calibration. Fuel calibration always needs to be demonstrated.

The amount of points required are variable, based on how big you tell it the tank is when you start the cal. That number IS NOT used for ultimate capacity, but just for step planning. So, just experiment with large numbers to get steps that are a larger amount of gallons. Then you can do fewer points.

Thanks.  Bit of a workaround, but if it works and I only have to do it once, then OK!

Its not a big tank. I have switches at 2 and 4 gallons. It only holds 8 or so.
