Fuel level sensors

Another quick question.

What if I cannot install fuel level sensors in my tanks? Will the EMS allow me to enter the approximate amount of fuel in the tanks by hand, and then start to keep track of the fuel burned using the flow meter?

This is my fuel level indicator, you can't beat that for simplicity and reliability, but unfortunately I cannot put a fuel level sensor in the wing:

Yes, the fuel flow sensor enables computer/totalizer functionality. Those values are never displayed as gauges, though - only textual numbers.
