FUEL PRESSURE INDICATION ERROR ?

I recently added the EMS function to a flying skyview system. I discovered that the fuel pressure sensor  voltage was being fed by a appearing  white/red wire that was actually pin #31 white/orange. this yielded a fuel pressure of 5.3 when it actually 0. I corrected the power supply to the correct 5v supply wire. this corrected a lack of function in a hall effect amp sensor that I could not get to work. BUT, I was getting a fuel pressure of 5.3 until I turned the aux fuel pump on ( engine not running ) the fuel pressure went over 14.7 and then red X  out of service. Do I have some wires incorrect on the fuel pressure sensor?  :-/

Hard to say without knowing a bit more about what exactly what sensor you're using and what you have selected in your sensor input mapping. You might give us a call at 425-402-0433 from your airplane.

Problem solved. This is the first time during 2 years of installation and use that I called the technical service folks.
I apparently ordered a 5 psi sensor, but failed to tell skyview which sensor it was listening to. Apparently the default fuel pressure sensor was the 15 psi version. I was impressed at the speed that the tech zeroed in on the problem.
Impressed as usual with you guys. :D

Hi John
I'm wondering how you mounted the Hall Effect Sensor. Mine is just the donut with three wires and I am at loss as how to secure & mount the unit.
appreciate any help you have.
Thanks
Tom
